Anyone have any easy quick recipes?

I love cooking, but lately I'm tired of cooking the same ole, thing. I would prefer recipes that didnt have a million ingredients in them and that were simple, but tasty. Please be detailed about your recipe.

Go to foodnetwork.com and look up the shows 30 minute meals and everyday italian. When I am stuck and can't figure out something or just sick of the same old, same old. I go here. I usually can find something quick and easy that use the everyday ingredients just a different prep or something that makes the dish completely different. They are very easy and quick......Good Luck......
RED PEPPER CROUTON PASTA

INGREDIENTS

1 pound rigatoni pasta

3 cups purchased garlic-flavored croutons, (about 5 ounces)

1/4 cup slivered almonds (about 1 ounce), toasted

1 cup julienned roasted red bell peppers

3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

DIRECTIONS

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and cook until tender but still firm to the bite, stirring occasionally, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain pasta into a large bowl. Place the croutons and the almonds in a food processor. Pulse until it becomes the texture of bread crumbs. Add the crouton and almond mixture to the hot pasta. Add the peppers and the olive oil. Toss to combine and serve.

I am making this tonight... Yummy! Serve with a salad, enjoy!
Quick Chicken and Dumplings

1 1/2 cups milk

1 cup frozen green peas and carrots

1 cup cut-up cooked chicken

1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken or mushroom soup

Dumplings:

1cup Original Bisquickċş mix

1/3 cup milk

Paprika, if desired

Heat the milk, the peas and carrots, chicken and soup to boiling in 3-quart saucepan, stirring frequently.

Stir Bisquick mix and 1/3 cup milk until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 8 spoonfuls onto chicken mixture (do not drop directly into liquid). Sprinkle with paprika.

Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
Stir Fry

Sautee fresh garlic and onion in a couple T. seseame oil. If you want to add meat, do it at this time (any amount of meat).

Add whatever veggies you want (I use pea pods, 1 can ea. of bamboo shoots and water chesnuts, and 1 package frozen stir fry veggies)

Add diced tofu if you would like

Use oyster sauce to flavor vs. sitr fry packet.

Make sure your veggies stay crisp by testing them now and then.

Buy 1lb. ground beef, a jar of spaghetti sauce (any flavor), a box of mostaccioli noodles, %26amp; shredded mozzarella cheese. Also buy some salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, salad dressing....or whatever you like on your salad). Don't forget the garlic bread %26amp; wine (if you drink wine)!

Brown the hamburger %26amp; drain off the excess grease. Stir in the jar of spaghetti sauce %26amp; heat until hot (be sure to stir it occasionally). Cook the mostaccioli noodles %26amp; drain off the water. Put the noodles in a baking dish, cover with meat sauce %26amp; then cover with shredded mozzarella cheese. Put it in the oven at 350 degrees just long enough to melt the cheese on top. Serve it with salad %26amp; garlic bread %26amp; a bottle of wine or other beverage of your choice.

Mangia.....mangia!!
