I love prawns and I often eat them plain or stir fried with some onion and garlic.
What other quick recipes are there for them?
Low fat, low calorie preferably!
Thanks

these are the two recipes we love for prawns....
GARLIC PRAWNS
INGREDIENTS...........
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced
1 orange, juiced
1 teaspoon dried basil, or to taste
2 tablespoons white wine (optional)
30 prawns, peeled and deveined
DIRECTIONS
In a glass dish, mix together the olive oil, mustard, garlic, lemon juice, orange juice, basil and white wine. Add the prawns, and stir to coat. Cover, and let marinate for 1 hour.
Heat an outdoor grill to high heat.
Thread prawns onto skewers. Grill for 3 to 5 minutes, turning once, until pink.
TOMATO GARLIC PRAWNS
INGREDIENTS................
1 cup butter, divided
1 medium head garlic, peeled and minced
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
2 pounds large prawns - peeled, deveined and butterflied
1 medium head garlic, peeled and minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
DIRECTIONS
Melt 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add 1 minced head of garlic and saute for 2 to 3 minutes until soft. Stir in the tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Continue cooking until reduced to a thick paste, about 60 to 90 minutes.
In a separate saucepan, melt remaining 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan over low heat. Saute remaining garlic for 2 to 3 minutes.
Toss prawns in garlic butter sauce and place on a baking sheet. Broil until pink, do not overcook.
Spread the warm tomato mixture onto serving plates. Place prawns on top of tomato sauce and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Good Eating................ :)

I like to season the shrimp with a little Old Bay, and saute them. When they are about 1/2 done, add some butter, chicken stock, white wine and garlic. Let them finish cooking in the sauce. Serve over linguine.
make kabobs with green pepper, onions, prawns, etc. and either grill them or broil them
