a chicken caesar roll-up --fill a tortilla with romaine lettuce, caesar dressing, parmesan cheese, and some grilled chicken (or steak if you want)
a pita pocket sandwich (try peanut butter and banana)
banana or zucchini bread
pizza (make it home made some night, and bring the leftovers with you)
egg salad
potato salad
pasta salad
fresh fruits and/or vegetables
a bagel, muffin, roll, or scone
pudding or jello
popcorn
trail mix
pretzels
crackers (try a flavored cracker, or pack a spread like peanut butter, cream cheese, or slices of cheese)
chips and salsa
corn tortillas with taco ingredients on the side (so they don't get soggy)
';pinwheel'; sandwiches --fill a tortilla with virtually anything (try basil pesto, sundried tomatoes, some shredded lettuce and grated carrot), roll it up tight, and slice it to make the ';pinwheels';)
breadsticks with pesto (or some dipping sauce)
granola, muesli, or oat bars

3 cups chicken breast (cooked and cubed)
1 cup pineapple (diced)
1/2 cup celery (diced)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup walnuts
1/8 cup dried cranberries
2 Tablespoons sweet onion (minced)
2 Tablespoons apple juice
Combine all ingredients in a bowl until well combined and chill. Serve with a lettuce garnish.
***You can use the chicken salad as a sandwich filling.***
