It makes great tasting gravy too, that tastes like you browned it and simmered it all day on the stove. Doesn't taste AT ALL like salad dressing!!!

This makes a LOT of pork. I typically freeze the leftovers and they reheat just fine.
I keep saying it over and over and I still don't get it.
...quick receipes for a slow cooker...
Hey, is this George Carlin? He would cook jumbo shrimp quick in his slow cooker. What is a jumbo shrimp, a large shrimp, or a small jumbo?
but I digress,
...quick receipes for a slow cooker... hmmm, it may take a long time to figure this out.
Crockpot Beans

1 can great northern beans, drained

I am making pork steak in mine tomorrow. Pork steak isn't the most tender of cuts but it falls apart when made in crockpot. I let them cook and make juices and then I pour a can of sauerkraut the bavarian kind with the caraway over the top and let it cook some more. I serve it over and with mashed potatoes and peas. I like canned peas myself (call me crazy) but I have pea pods in the garden just waiting for me to use.
